Important (please note!):
We recommend mounting the device on a thumbturn cylinder. Suitable adapters are included in the package. If mounting on a cylinder with a key inserted, you must ensure that the profile cylinder features an emergency override function (priority clutch) on the inside. Without this function, the motor may jam. This means it would not be possible to open the door from the outside or potentially even from the inside. XLOCK GmbH accepts no liability in such cases.
Recommendation: The product should be unlocked at least once a month using the XL Lock Manager app; this is the only way to guarantee that the battery status is displayed correctly, the time is synchronized, and the memory is read.
